Key responsibilities include:
- Demonstrating a proven track record in the safe delivery of high-quality medium to large-scale projects, on time and within budget
- Maintaining a full understanding of the scope of works for all mechanical and electrical subcontractor packages
- Managing on-site mechanical and electrical subcontractor works
- Coordinating M&E activities with the wider site management team
- Liaising with the Building Services Manager, Project Manager, and Quantity Surveyor regarding works outside the agreed scope
- Ensuring full compliance with current Health & Safety and CDM legislation
- Reviewing subcontractor method statements and risk assessments and monitoring compliance throughout the project
- Issuing, monitoring, and closing out permits for M&E and associated works
- Inspecting installations to ensure compliance with contract and design requirements
- Raising NCRs for non-compliant or substandard works
- Ensuring inspection and test plans (ITPs) are produced, reviewed, and closed out
- Compiling snagging lists and managing the close-out process
- Ensuring as-installed works align with design intent and end-user requirements
- Understanding the building contract and managing key stakeholder interfaces, including client representatives and design teams
Essential requirements:
- CSCS and SMSTS certification
- Full UK driving licence
- Electrical and/or Mechanical trade qualification
