Salary: £50,000 – £75,000 + Travel Package OR circa £350 - £400 per day

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor to join a growing engineering contractor working on a diverse range of projects across the Southeast. Responsibilities:

• Manage all costs relating to engineering and construction projects.
• Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
• Conduct cost analysis, value work completed, and oversee project budgets.
• Negotiate contracts and work closely with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Provide regular financial progress reports and forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with contractual and legal requirements.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the engineering or construction sector.
• Strong knowledge of standard forms of contract (NEC, JCT, etc.).
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Commercially astute with strong analytical ability.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Package:

• Permanent salary: £50,000 – £75,000 (depending on experience) plus travel package.
• Freelance option: circa £350 - £400 (subject to experience) per day.
