An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced M&E Technical Manager to join a leading residential developer in North London. Reporting to the Senior Building Services Manager, this position will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) management across multiple projects.

An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced M&E Technical Manager to join a leading residential developer in North London. Reporting to the Senior Building Services Manager, this position will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) management across multiple projects.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in residential building services design, ideally gained within a developer environment (contractor background also considered).
- Strong understanding of Mechanical or Electrical design, with a mechanical bias preferred.
- Capable of managing multiple projects and working effectively under pressure.
- Minimum HNC/HND qualification in a Building Services discipline, with broad knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems.
- Proficient in software tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills, confident when participating in meetings and technical discussions.
- Primarily office-based, with occasional site visits as required.
- Provide technical M&E support to design, project, and technical teams from concept through to handover.
- Ensure that all building services meet performance, compliance, and quality standards.
- Prepare and deliver progress reports on M&E design and installation activities.
- Attend internal and external design meetings and workshops, contributing expertise on building services.
- Demonstrate sound knowledge of M&E design guides, British Standards, and CIBSE guidelines, offering informed recommendations on systems and design approaches.
