People Group is looking for a Commissioning Supervisor from an Electrical systems background to work for a leading consultancy.

Rate: €700 per day

Responsibilities:
- To work closely with the various contractors, engineers and stakeholders to ensure the planned commissioning activities on site are carried out safely and effectively
- Participate in the coordination of pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up activities
- Attend workshops where needed to provide input to P&ID and model reviews
- Maintain commissioning reports (closeout) documentation throughout the project and submit
- documentation over to the project manager
- Review and assist the contractors with following and maintaining their pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures
- Supervision of some site commissioning activities including; design verification, installation checks/walk-downs/punching) and progress reporting
- Attends and participates in pre-start up safety reviews with the contractors and any external stakeholders
- Will support the Commissioning manager and Technical leads with the preparation and management of the cause and effect and integrated site testing
Requirements:
- Must hold an EU passport
- Will have completed an MBO or HBO education in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent combination of qualifications and experience.
- Knowledge and experience with Testing and Commissioning on aviation projects
- Basic knowledge of technical drawings and specifications.
- Good communication skills and willingness to work together in a team.
- Willingness to learn and develop further within the field.
- Good standard of general computer literacy
- Ability to think methodically and solve problems
- Good time management and the ability to multitask; able to maintain an overview of multiple elements of a project, while still handling day-to-day activities
