Our client specialises in major horizontal civil engineering projects, typically delivered in live, operational environments. Projects are largely self delivered, ranging from £20M to £100M in value. With a secure order book across the UK and overseas, this is a business actively pursuing flagship infrastructure schemes — including opportunities as far afield as Australia.
What will you be doing?
To be successful in this position, it is thought that you will:
On offer is a salary of between 40,000 - 45,000 per annum, plus a very attractive benefits package incorporating a tax free subsistence, accommodation, car allowance, matched contribution pension and private medical.

What will you be doing?
- Promote and establish safe working practices, deliver works safely and in line with standards and compliance
- Promote high levels of quality, ensuring work is delivered defect free whilst identifying value engineering opportunities
- Establish the level and survey control for contracts and set out detailed works as per the drawings, and carry out checks
- Keep accurate site records, and make sure they comply with requirements
- Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise at any time
- Produce procurement schedules for the project
- Produce ITPs and Task Briefings
- Produce 2 week look ahead, working with site team
- Produce Site Diaries and Allocation Sheets
To be successful in this position, it is thought that you will:
- Be educated to HND or Degree level in Civil Engineering
- Hold a CSCS Card - Academically or Professionally Qualified
- Have a SSSTS or SMSTS
- Ideally have at least 12 months of site based experience working on a civil engineering project
