A well-established M&E contractor specialising in commercial, healthcare, education, and residential projects across the UK is looking to appoint a Mechanical Construction Manager to join their residential division. The role will involve working on a range of high-quality residential developments across Central London.

The company has firmly established itself as a leading name within the building services sector and is recognised as one of the largest independent M&E contractors in the industry.

You will be part of a large and experienced project team, with strong support both upstream and downstream—something the business takes great pride in.

Both permanent and freelance (CIS) options are available.

Package:

• £65,000 – £70,000 annual salary (permanent)
• £340 – £350 per day (CIS)
• 25 days annual leave, increasing with length of service

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee mechanical installations, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Manage site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain smooth project operations.
• Develop work programmes, allocate resources, and monitor project progress.
• Ensure all installations comply with design specifications, industry standards, and health and safety regulations.
• Monitor project costs, approve variations, and collaborate with commercial teams on financial matters.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and key project stakeholders.
• Resolve technical challenges, delays, and on-site issues efficiently.
