Like the idea of joining a start up, but with the backing of a £1bn+ revenue civil contractor? This role offers a rare opportunity to become employee number five in a newly created, standalone business.
Operating within the Energy sector, the company is positioned to capitalise on the billions of pounds being invested across the industry — from interconnectors and transmission and distribution networks to substations.
As one of the first full time hires, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and growing the business’s presence in this market. You’ll bring a demonstrable track record within the sector, supported by a strong, citable portfolio of completed projects, and help shape the company’s future from the ground up.
As a Senior Estimator, you'll be responsible for preparing detailed, accurate and competitive pricing for major civil engineering tenders in the Energy sector. You'll support with ECI, providing cost planning and pricing advice, and work closely with the wider bid team with submission quality and bid strategy.
This would suit an established Estimator looking to step up into more of a lead position. As the revenue grows, there will be future opportunity for you to step up into a Managing Estimator position and build a team.

What will you need to be successful?
- An HND or degree in Civil Engineering, or a construction based subject
- Experience working within a Tier 1 Civil contractor, pricing civil engineering projects up to £100M in value
- Proven experience in building estimates from first principles
