Senior CDM / Principal Designer – North London
£50,000 – £60,000 + Car Allowance
 
We are seeking an experienced Senior CDM / Principal Designer to join a well-established, multi-disciplinary consultancy based in North London. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive professional to take ownership of exciting projects across a range of sectors, working with a supportive and collaborative team.
 
The Role
As a Senior CDM / Principal Designer, you will:

• Provide expert advice and guidance on health & safety, design risk management, and CDM 2015 compliance.
• Act as Principal Designer on a wide portfolio of projects.
• Engage with clients, design teams, and contractors to ensure risks are managed effectively.
• Contribute to the development of best practice within the consultancy.
• Mentor and support junior colleagues where appropriate.

About You

• To be successful in this role, you will have:
• Strong knowledge of the CDM Regulations 2015 and relevant health & safety legislation.
• Proven experience delivering Principal Designer services on construction projects.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A relevant health & safety qualification (such as NEBOSH Construction Certificate, APS membership, or equivalent).
• A collaborative approach with the ability to work across multi-disciplinary teams.
