The Planner will report directly to senior management and collaborate closely with pre-construction, technical, build, and commercial teams, as well as with external stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
As a Planner, your primary roles and responsibilities will include:
  • Developing detailed tender and construction programmes, logistical strategies, and method statements.
  • Supporting bid submissions and live project teams with accurate scheduling and planning.

  • Assisting in post-tender negotiations and ensuring a smooth project handover process.

  • Presenting programme updates and communicating planning-related insights to all key stakeholders.
Essential Criteria:
  • Solid experience in planning for residential developments, including both social and private housing schemes.
  • A strong understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in planning software (e.g. Asta Powerproject, MS Project) and the ability to visually communicate programme information.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience leading planning on complex or high-value residential projects.
  • BTEC, HNC, FdSc, or BSc in Construction Management or a related field (preferred).
  • Health & Safety awareness and commitment to safe construction practices.
