📋 Key Responsibilities
Programme Development
- Take ownership of initial project schedules and phasing strategies with minimal supervision.
- Create detailed baseline programmes covering MEPH works, resource planning, and key milestones.
- Work closely with pre-construction and project teams to align planning outputs with commercial and technical scopes.
- Review and refine programmes based on feedback from internal stakeholders.
- Build and maintain comprehensive project schedules integrating MEPH installation and commissioning.
- Ensure MEPH activities align with critical path and overall project objectives.
- Produce lookahead schedules and short-term programmes for site teams.
- Continuously interpret technical documents to adapt planning strategies.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor MEPH progress and feed back into planning systems.
- Generate and analyse progress droplines, flagging variances and risks.
- Liaise directly with site teams to resolve sequencing or resourcing issues in real time.
- Prepare progress reports, forecasts, and mitigation strategies for key stakeholders.
- Carry out critical path analyses and delay reviews when required.
- Maintain accurate records of programme changes and justification logs.
- Act as the main planning interface for MEPH delivery across projects.
- Attend project progress meetings, provide updates, and flag planning risks.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and design teams to ensure timely execution.
- Previous experience in a planning role with a mechanical and electrical focus (MEPH).
- Strong understanding of construction programmes, methodologies, and planning best practices.
- Proficiency in planning software such as Asta Powerproject, Primavera P6 or MS Project.
- Confident communicator, comfortable working across multiple departments and project teams.
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively across pre-construction and live project phases.
