Duties:
- Lead and manage mechanical construction activities of the project from start to finish, ensuring all milestones are met and quality standards are maintained.
- Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, ensuring they follow project schedules and meet mechanical system specifications.
- Review and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and technical documents, ensuring compliance with project requirements and resolving any conflicts or issues.
- Manage the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical equipment, ensuring they meet project requirements and regulatory standards.
- Monitor and control project progress, budgets, and resources, proactively identifying potential risks or delays and developing mitigation plans.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality control, and compliance with mechanical design specifications and project timelines.
- Collaborate with the design team to provide input on constructability, value engineering, and optimization of mechanical systems to improve cost efficiency and performance.
- Maintain effective communication and foster positive relationships with clients, stakeholders, engineers, and project teams, ensuring alignment with project goals and timely resolution of issues.
