Our client, a market-leading Tier 1 MEP Contractor, is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to assist with the delivery of a complex mechanical package for a major pharmaceutical project in Cambridgeshire.
Joining this well-established company, you will report to the Mechanical Lead Project Manager and take the lead on Mechanical Engineering from the pre-construction phase through to arriving on site in Spring 2025. This role offers long-term work in the Cambridgeshire area and numerous opportunities for career advancement.

- Preparation of commissioning documents
- Planning the development of the project and be responsible for any engineering issues.
- Prepare estimates for labour costs, material costs and equipment costs to determine project budgets
- Use the request for information system to communicate queries with the Design team.
- Preparing risk assessments and method statements.
- Ensure all relevant safety objectives and legal requirements are followed throughout the project
- Ensure quality control is up to date through inspections and snagging
- Be able to communicate with clients professionally.
