A modern, forward-thinking and progressive M&E Contractor with a turnover of around £50m requires a Mechanical Pre-construction Engineer, you will play a key role within the pre-construction team, working closely with estimating, commercial, and delivery functions to ensure mechanical packages are fully developed, accurately costed, and appropriately de-risked prior to project award.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the pre-construction team on mechanical services tenders and bids
- Review drawings, specifications, and employer’s requirements
- Assist with value engineering and design development
- Liaise with supply chain and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations
- Contribute to cost planning, programme input, and risk identification
- Support handover from pre-construction to delivery teams
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure robust and compliant proposals
