A modern, forward-thinking and progressive M&E Contractor with a turnover of around £50m requires a Mechanical Pre-construction Engineer, you will play a key role within the pre-construction team, working closely with estimating, commercial, and delivery functions to ensure mechanical packages are fully developed, accurately costed, and appropriately de-risked prior to project award.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the pre-construction team on mechanical services tenders and bids
• Review drawings, specifications, and employer’s requirements
• Assist with value engineering and design development
• Liaise with supply chain and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations
• Contribute to cost planning, programme input, and risk identification
• Support handover from pre-construction to delivery teams
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure robust and compliant proposals
