A leading Tier 1 Main Contractor is seeking an experienced Mechanical Construction Manager to oversee delivery on a flagship Life Sciences project in London. This contract position offers the opportunity to contribute to an innovative and technically challenging build within a highly regulated sector.

As the Mechanical Construction Manager, you will take ownership of mechanical works from pre-construction through to commissioning. You will ensure the highest standards in safety, quality, and programme delivery while collaborating closely with internal teams, consultants, and subcontractors to deliver a world-class facility.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all mechanical works on-site in accordance with the project schedule.
- Coordinate with MEP subcontractors and integrate with the wider construction team.
- Ensure compliance with HSEQ policies and relevant mechanical standards.
- Drive programme performance, manage risks, and ensure optimal resource allocation.
- Oversee mechanical commissioning and support project handover.
- Demonstrable experience delivering complex mechanical packages for Tier 1 contractors.
- Previous involvement in Life Sciences, healthcare, or similarly regulated environments.
- In-depth knowledge of UK mechanical building systems, health & safety, and commissioning protocols.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to engage clients, consultants, and project stakeholders.
