Due to continued growth, they are looking for a Fabric Project Manager to join the team and play a key role in managing fabric operations, projects, and client relationships.

The Role
As Fabric Project Manager, you will take ownership of fabric maintenance, small works, and fit-out projects, acting as a key interface between clients, internal teams, and supply chain partners. This is a highly visible, hands-on role requiring strong leadership, technical expertise, and excellent communication skills.
You’ll manage the wider fabric team, oversee helpdesk operations, support project delivery, and ensure that all works are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, manage, and support the wider fabric team
  • Oversee and manage the GS bespoke helpdesk system
  • Produce detailed nightly handovers for ongoing works
  • Chair quarterly internal and client-facing performance meetings
  • Manage corrective works and small works projects
  • Prepare quotations, estimates, and supplier enquiries
  • Maintain strong client relationships with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
  • Collaborate closely with clients, subcontractors, cleaning teams, and WPAs
  • Attend and contribute to client and stakeholder meetings
  • Take ownership of weekly documentation, trackers, and reports
  • Provide post-works reporting, audits, and site updates
  • Manage onsite assets, consumables, and loading bay operations
  • Apply strong health & safety knowledge, including RAMS preparation
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Support QS-related duties and maintain O&M manuals
  • Be available for emergencies when required

About You

You’ll be an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in fit-out, fabric maintenance, or building services, confident operating in a client-facing environment.

You will ideally have:
  • Proven experience managing fabric works and small projects
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • A solid understanding of health & safety requirements
  • Confidence using Excel and reporting tools
  • Experience estimating and preparing quotations
  • Ability to interpret drawings and technical information
  • NVQ Level 7 (desirable)
  • SMSTS (desirable)
