A leading global construction and consultancy firm is seeking a Electrical Project Lead to deliver a major commercial new-build project in the City of London, valued at £40m M&E, with completion scheduled for 2028.

The Electrical Project Lead will act as the senior electrical lead on the project, reporting directly to the Project Director, and will take responsibility for the electrical package from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead programme planning across pre-construction, construction, and commissioning
• Manage logic-linked programmes, PPC plans, and weekly look-aheads
• Coordinate and manage supply chain and internal resources
• Lead procurement strategy and manage sub-subcontractor packages
• Own project commercials, including P&L reporting
• Chair programme, progress, and commissioning meetings
• Oversee quality assurance, installation compliance, and commissioning strategy
• Ensure technical coordination across design, installation, and commissioning

Requirements:

• Senior Electrical PM / Electrical Project Lead experience on similar projects from pre-con to handover
• Experience delivering projects valued at £15m+, ideally with Tier 1 contractors
• Strong electrical bias with solid MEP coordination experience
• Proven ability to manage programme, commercials, and supply chain

Package:

• Salary: £95,000 – £105,000
• Car Allowance: £7,000
