Construction Manager - Freeelance - 6 month contract

We are seeking a Construction Manager for a large scale project in Amsterdam, this is a freelance/contract position for approximately 6 months. 

The successful Construction Manager will be working for a Tier 1 Main Contractor on a project valued at over £100 million. The project is coming to the end and we need this person to come on and help close the project out. 

We can pay via a Limited Company or via an Umbrella Company. 

As a Freelance Construction Manager, your principal roles and responsibilities will include:
 

• Supervise construction packages and ensure timely, high-quality project delivery.
• Respond to work delays, emergencies, and any potential issues with the project.
• Update the system with all relevant information regarding the project.
• Ensure the project complies with all legal requirements and building and safety codes.
• Prepare and deliver project reports and updates to management and clients. 
• Ability to manage multiple large-scale contractors.
• Review, approve, and enforce site health and safety protocols and quality standards.

Essential Criteria:

• 3+ years of professional construction experience with a main Contractor.
• SMSTS or equivalent Health & Safety Certificate.
• Dutch residency or an EU Passport.
• Be able to provide references
