Commissioning Manager (3–5 Years’ Experience)
Location: Oxford
Basis: Permanent or Freelance Basis
Salary: £80,000-£100,000 + Benefits Package / Negotiable Day Rate CIS or Ltd

Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake commission ability reviews during design and pre-construction phases to influence buildability and operational functionality.
- Oversee all aspects of MEPH commissioning, ensuring delivery meets project and client expectations.
- Apply a detailed understanding of ATP procedures and ASHRAE guidelines throughout project lifecycle.
- Lead technical workshops
- Represent commissioning interests in project meetings with a confident, solutions-focused approach.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and client teams to deliver commissioning deliverables on time.
- Produce and maintain commissioning records and reports using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Teams.
- Ideally, assist in the development of commissioning programmes using Microsoft Project or Asta Powerproject.
- 3–5 years’ experience in a commissioning role within MEPH environments.
- Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, public health systems and integration within complex building environments.
- Comfortable leading meetings, managing teams, and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Organised, detail-oriented, and proactive in problem-solving.
- Full UK driving licence and own vehicle.
- Based in or around the Midlands with the ability to work in London as needed.
- Experience in programme development and tracking using MS Project or Asta Powerproject.
- Exposure to commissioning within commercial, residential or mixed-use schemes.
