Job description

As a Commercial Auditor, you’ll be part of a close knit team of five, supporting the delivery of an assurance and contract audit plan while helping the business recover over £2 million annually. You’ll achieve this by conducting commercial contract assurance reviews, assessing compliance with contractual arrangements, and identifying value leakage and improvement opportunities.
Your role will also involve complex supplier analysis, spotting trends, and uncovering financial and commercial opportunities that deliver real value to the business.
While you’ll work closely with your immediate team, you’ll also benefit from the expertise and insights of key external audit partners, giving you exposure to best practice approaches and broader industry knowledge.
What skills and qualifications do you need to be successful in this role?
On offer is a salary of between £50,000 - £64,000 per annum along with an annual bonus, a 12% employer pension contribution, annual holiday and other benefits

What skills and qualifications do you need to be successful in this role?
- This is a pretty technical role, so you'll need to have a degree in finance, accounting or quantity surveying.
- You'll also need to have a strong understanding of the workings of the NEC form of contract along with advanced Excel skills
- You'll need experience of leading and managing an audit plan
