Building Surveyor – London | Up to £55,000 + Excellent Benefits
London (Hybrid working available)
£45,000 – £55,000 (depending on experience)


Are you a skilled Building Surveyor looking to join a dynamic, multi-disciplinary consultancy with a strong reputation across the public and private sectors?
 
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established, forward-thinking consultancy based in London that is looking to expand its team with an experienced Building Surveyor. With a diverse client base and a strong presence across the housing, education, and local authority sectors, this firm offers the perfect environment for professional growth and varied project exposure.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting condition surveys, defect diagnosis, and measured surveys
  • Preparing specifications, schedules of work, and tender documentation
  • Contract administration and project management for refurbishment and improvement projects
  • Providing professional advice on building pathology, maintenance strategies, and lifecycle planning
  • Supporting clients through planning, design, procurement, and delivery phases
  • Working within frameworks for housing associations, local authorities, and education providers
Building Surveyor
  • Degree qualified in Building Surveying (or equivalent)
  • MRICS or working towards chartership (support provided)
  • Proven experience in residential or public sector property portfolios
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of building regulations and construction methods
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Full UK driving licence preferred
