Assistant MEP Quantity Surveyor
Mechanical Pipework Contractor (Turnover £15m)
£30,000 – £45,000 + Package
The Company:
A well-established, smaller-sized mechanical pipework contractor with an annual turnover of around £15m. The business operates across four main divisions including an in-house factory, fabrication, off-site prebuilt pipework, and services division that delivers projects across the commercial, data centre, and healthcare sectors up to £4m.

Key responsibilities:
- Assist in managing a portfolio of live projects valued between £50k and £4m.
- Support with measuring, costing, valuations, variations, and change orders.
- Help prepare monthly commercial reports and forecasts.
- Work closely with Senior Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers.
- Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Spend time both in the London office and on project sites as required.
- Previous experience as a Trainee or Assistant Quantity Surveyor within an MEP or mechanical contracting environment.
- A good understanding of commercial processes and construction contracts.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and attention to detail.
- A team player who is keen to learn and develop.
- Salary between £30,000 - £45,000 depending on experience.
