Site Manager – New Build Housing
Location: Maldon, Essex
Salary: Up to £65,000 + Package
My client is seeking a Site Manager to join their successful and growing team, delivering a traditional new build housing scheme in Maldon, Essex.
The Role:
As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and delivery of the project. You’ll oversee all on-site operations, ensuring the development is built to the highest standards of quality, completed safely, on programme, and within budget.

As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and delivery of the project. You’ll oversee all on-site operations, ensuring the development is built to the highest standards of quality, completed safely, on programme, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all on-site construction activities from start to finish
- Ensure strict compliance with health & safety regulations and company procedures
- Coordinate, supervise, and motivate subcontractors and suppliers
- Manage site logistics, progress reporting, and programme scheduling
- Monitor build quality, carry out regular inspections, and ensure defect-free delivery
- Chair site meetings, toolbox talks, and daily briefings
- Drive the project through to successful completion and client handover
- Work closely with senior management to achieve project and business objectives
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on residential new build schemes
- Strong knowledge of traditional build methods and current building regulations
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
- SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications (essential)
- A proactive, detail-focused approach with the ability to problem-solve under pressure
- Salary up to £65,000 depending on experience
