Job description

Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor
Tier 1 MEP Contractor – Major Commercial Development
Central London – 1 day WFH per week

We are working with a Tier 1 MEP Contractor that has recently secured a £40m mechanical package on a major commercial development in Central London, located by a major train station. The project is entering pre-construction, with the next 6 months on site focused on early-stage commercial setup, and an overall project completion scheduled for December 2027.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for either a Project Surveyor looking to step up into a Senior role, or an established Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor looking for their next major project. For Senior’s, there will be a clear and defined progression plan to Commercial Manager, working on future major projects.

You will form part of a structured commercial team, reporting directly to a Project Commercial Manager as their number two, while also working closely alongside an Assistant Quantity Surveyor. This is a long-term project providing stability, exposure, and career development from pre-construction through to final account.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting the Project Commercial Manager across the full project lifecycle
  • Assisting with procurement, cost reporting, and subcontractor management
  • Managing mechanical packages and supporting commercial decision-making
  • Working collaboratively within the wider commercial and project teams

Requirements:
  • Experience within MEP / Building Services or Mechanical packages
  • Open to Project or Senior level MEP Quantity Surveyors
  • Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
  • Good communication skills and a proactive approach

Salary & Package:
  • £70,000 – £95,000, subject to experience
  • Travel reimbursement, including station parking where required
  • Private healthcare
  • Pension contribution
  • 25 – 28 days annual leave
  • 1 day hybrid working per week

Referral Scheme:
Even if this role isn’t suitable for you, we offer a referral scheme providing up to £500 in vouchers for recommending a successful applicant.
