Are you an experienced Mechanical Project Manager ready to take the lead on one of London’s most exciting commercial developments?
Our client, a major Tier 1 MEP Contractor, is seeking a Senior Mechanical Project Manager to deliver one of two flagship new-build commercial schemes, each with an MEP value between £30m – £50m.
These projects represent some of the most high-profile and technically challenging developments currently underway in the City of London.
The Role
As the Mechanical Lead, you will report directly to the site-based Project Director and oversee all mechyanical delivery activities. You’ll manage a team of Mechanical Engineers and Mechanical Construction Managers, ensuring all works are executed safely, on schedule, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the mechanical package across the project lifecycle, from design coordination through to commissioning and handover.
- Manage and mentor a team of engineers and construction managers.
- Oversee subcontractor performance, procurement, and installation quality.
- Collaborate closely with the electrical and project leadership teams to ensure seamless MEP integration.
- Drive programme delivery, commercial performance, and client satisfaction.
About You
- Proven track record of managing mechanical packages on large-scale commercial new-build projects (£20m+ MEP value).
- Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
- Experience working within a Tier 1 MEP or main contractor environment.
- Relevant electrical or building services qualification (HNC/HND/Degree).
