An independent Engineering Consultancy at the forefront of the Energy and Building Services Engineering sector is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer. The firm specialises in designing and delivering challenging and innovative projects, collaborating closely with all parties to achieve the most appropriate solutions. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role within a dynamic, close-knit team, driving technically excellent project delivery for valued clients.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Building Services Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• 6+ years of UK building services experience.
• Progressing towards or recently achieved professional membership status (Chartered or Associate).
• Strong communication skills for a client-facing role.
• Analytical, resourceful, and problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the electrical lead or project manager on various projects.
• Design lighting, small power, fire alarm, lightning protection, sub-mains distribution, voice/data infrastructure, security, and ancillary electrical services.
• Utilise design software to prepare calculations and designs.
• Prepare specifications, written reports, and condition surveys.
• Compile equipment schedules.
• Draw schematics, general arrangements, and sections for electrical services, and mark up drawings.
