UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY! A chance to join a successful project and building consultancy based in Manchester. We are looking for well-rounded commercially focused Senior/Associate Building Surveyor to lead a service line.
 
You the Senior/Associate Building Surveyor will spearhead the Building Surveying division in Manchester. The role is to manage the impressive client portfolio delivering accurate service across building surveying (projects and professional)
 
Work is located across Northeast England, you will be tasked with developing the existing client portfolio whilst spotting opportunities to grow. We are looking for a driven and proactive individual who is looking to support the division and make something their own.
 
Responsibilities
  • Lead and deliver building surveying projects from inception to completion.
  • Provide expert advice to clients on property, construction, and technical matters.
  • Undertake detailed building inspections, condition surveys, and defect diagnosis.
  • Prepare comprehensive technical reports, specifications, and schedules of work.
  • Manage refurbishment, maintenance, and repair schemes.
  • Administer contracts and ensure compliance with statutory regulations and industry standards.
  • Coordinate effectively with clients, contractors, consultants, and stakeholders.
  • Mentor and support junior surveyors and graduate staff.
  • Contribute to business development and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Review and approve technical drawings, reports, and documentation.
  • Support strategic planning and assist in achieving departmental performance targets.
 
Successful Associate/Senior Building Surveyor
  • MRICS qualified
  • Commercially aware

  • Effective communication skills (written & verbal)
  • Full UK drivers licence
