The Role As Project Manager, you will:
- Lead the successful delivery of a new highway construction project in Plymouth.
- Oversee all project phases – planning, delivery, financial control, health & safety, and stakeholder engagement.
- Work closely with the Framework Delivery Team to ensure consistency, quality, and programme certainty across future schemes.
- Support continuous improvement and innovation within the framework.
- Provide leadership to site teams, ensuring safe, efficient, and collaborative working.
- Experience in highways, civil engineering, infrastructure, or similar environments.
- Strong commercial awareness and programme management capability.
- Excellent stakeholder and client-facing skills.
- A proactive, delivery-focused approach with a passion for building strong teams.
- The ability to take ownership of projects while contributing to a long-term framework culture.
- Work with a respected Tier 1 contractor on a major regional framework.
- Long-term pipeline of civils and highways projects across the South West.
- Clear progression pathway into Framework Manager role.
- Freelance or permanent options available.
