Location: West London
Contract: Anticipated to be Outside IR35 | £500 per day (approx.) | Until March 2027 (with potential extension)

Are you an experienced Project Controls Manager who thrives in a client facing position? Do you have the ability to interpret complex data, translate the detail, and provide clarity and assurance to key stakeholders?


We’re seeking a talented Project Controls Manager to join a leading Civil Engineering Main Contractor delivering a series of high profile infrastructure projects as part of a long term framework in the West London area.


What you’ll be doing

• Develop, manage, and interpret project data to provide clear updates and assurance to the client
• Coordinate and integrate project control information to support informed decision making
• Manage performance reporting using Excel
• Deliver concise, client facing explanations of programme status, risks, and forecasts
• Maintain consistency and accuracy across cost, schedule, and progress tracking
• Collaborate closely with commercial, planning, and delivery teams to ensure alignment across all project control processes

What you’ll need

• Proven experience in project controls within a contractor environment – this is a hands on role, not client side or review based
• Confident in client facing settings, able to communicate technical details clearly and professionally
• Solid understanding of programme management and interpretation
• Highly skilled in Excel; experience or interest in Power BI is advantageous
• Background in major infrastructure projects such as rail, energy, aviation, or highways
