Location: London
Salary:£30,000 -  £35,000 per annum + benefits
Working Pattern: Office-based, 5 days per week (no hybrid working)

Role Overview
We are recruiting a Pre-Construction Administrative Assistant to join the Main London Division of a leading M&E contractor, supporting the Pre-Construction team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 2–3 years’ experience who is keen to develop their skills within a preconstruction environment and grow their career within a well-established business.
The role sits within a collaborative Pre-Construction team comprising a Pre-Construction Director, eight MEP Estimators, and a Pre-Construction Administrator. You will report directly to the Pre-Construction Administrator and provide day-to-day administrative support to the wider team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Pre-Construction team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
  • Assist with the preparation, coordination, and organisation of tender submissions
  • Produce and format PowerPoint presentations and supporting documentation (no presenting required)
  • Support document control, tender tracking, and general pre-construction administration
  • Assist in coordinating information between estimators and the wider business
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure documentation is organised and up to date
  • Support ad-hoc tasks and projects as required by the Pre-Construction Administrator and team
About You
  • 2–3 years’ experience in an administrative or support role within construction, engineering, or a commercial environment
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint
  • Willingness to learn and develop within a pre-construction environment
  • Proactive, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, office-based team
  • Keen to build a long-term career within pre-construction or the wider business
Career Development
This role offers clear opportunities for progression, either within the Pre-Construction team or across the wider business. The team is seeking someone competent, motivated, and eager to learn and grow with the organisation.
