We are seeking a highly skilled Planning Manager to join a global PMO team supporting a landmark mixed-use development under Saudi Vision 2030. This is a unique opportunity to lead planning functions on a transformative programme, contributing to high-profile residential, commercial, and infrastructure developments in Riyadh.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development, maintenance, and monitoring of detailed project and programme schedules.
- Analyse complex project data and communicate schedule insights clearly to senior stakeholders, PMO teams, and project delivery teams.
- Support programme planning strategy and ensure alignment with overall programme objectives.
- Identify potential risks, bottlenecks, and schedule impacts, proposing mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, consultants, contractors, and the global PMO to ensure consistency across all scheduling processes.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to planning teams, fostering capability development and knowledge sharing.
- Ensure schedule and planning practices comply with professional standards and programme governance.
- Proven experience delivering residential or infrastructure projects, or a combination of both.
- Experience working within a PMO environment.
- Strong expertise in managing complex schedules and translating data for different audiences.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Relevant construction-related qualifications or equivalent work experience.
- Professional membership in APM, RICS, CIOB, ICE, AACE, IRM, IEMA, or demonstrable professional development.
- Extensive experience in planning projects and programmes within the residential sector.
- Deep property or infrastructure project management expertise.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen.
- Leadership and management experience of large, diverse teams.
- Proven experience managing relationships with key senior stakeholders.
- Strong collaborative skills, with a commitment to working with care at the center of decision-making.
- A strong desire to pursue excellence and a formidable sense of responsibility.
