Job description
We are recruiting a Civil Engineering Planner to an end Client in the Transport sector. This position will find you responsible for leading planning and scheduling activities across a programme of projects, typically involving horizontal civils works albeit delivered in a live, operational environment. This keeps things interesting!
Working for the end Client means you will be able to significantly impact the strategy and delivery of this substantial investment plan, working with project Sponsors from the very early project stages.

In return, you will be offered a salary of around £70,000 per annum with a 1,000 cash benefits allowance, a 15% annual bonus, a 5% signing on bonus, pension, private medical, 25 days holiday as well as additional fringe benefits (free parking, discounted travel, share saver)

What will you be doing?
- Reporting to the Programme Planning Manager, you will play a key role in the Construction team
- Be responsible for schedule development, monitoring, recovery plans and reporting.
- Develop and manage robust delivery schedules with clear targets and understanding of all activities and interfaces that support the successful completion of the projects.
To be successful in this position, you will:
- Have demonstrable experience of working as a Planning Engineer or Planner on civil engineering projects with values upwards of £5M.
- Be educated to HND or degree level in a construction related subject.
- Have experience of Primavera P6 and be a good level user
