We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading built environment consultancy for an experienced Lead Project Monitoring Specialist to join their established London team.
This is a senior level opportunity for a project monitoring professional who is confident leading complex instructions, managing client relationships and setting the standard for technical excellence.
The Role
- Lead the delivery of project monitoring and lender advisory commissions from appointment through to completion
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, funders and key stakeholders
- Provide independent technical due diligence, including development appraisals, cost and programme reviews, risk assessments and drawdown recommendations
- Review and sign off monthly monitoring reports and change control processes
- Mentor and support junior and mid-level team members, ensuring consistency and quality across outputs
- Contribute to business development activities and the growth of long-term client relationships
About You
- BSc in Building Surveying or Quantity Surveying
- MRICS qualification
- Proven leadership or supervisory experience within a consultancy environment
- Extensive experience in project monitoring / lender advisory within the construction or property sector
- A strong understanding of development risk, procurement, cost management and construction delivery
- Excellent communication skills and confidence operating in client-facing roles
