Investment & Asset Managing Director (Real Estate and Hospitality)

Job Title: Real Estate and Hospitality Managing Director
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Division: Investment and Asset Management
Function: Real Estate and Hospitality
Reporting To: Chief Investment and Asset Management Officer
Direct Reports: Sub-sectors Director, Asset Development Director

Job Purpose:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Managing Director for our Real Estate and Hospitality division. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing the strategy, managing assets from origination to monetization, and driving performance improvements across the sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Planning and Strategy:

  • Develop and oversee the implementation of business plans aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Identify and mitigate risks within the risk management framework.
  • Define and measure key performance indicators.
  • Ensure budget adherence and report on progress and challenges.
Processes and Procedures:
  • Implement efficient, transparent, and accountable processes and procedures.
  • Encourage continuous improvement and adoption of leading practices.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and recommend corrective measures.
Real Estate and Hospitality Planning:
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Develop sector strategies aligned with overarching strategic objectives.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure comprehensive coverage and alignment. 
Investment Management:
  • Identify and evaluate investment opportunities.
  • Manage due diligence processes and support financial modeling and analysis.
  • Negotiate contracts and mitigate financial, legal, and operational risks.
Asset Development and Management:
  • Assess development projects and manage implementation plans.
  • Ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets.
  • Define value creation initiatives and manage asset capital structures.
  • Identify and execute exit opportunities.
People Management:
  • Foster a culture of development and high performance.
  • Set recruitment requirements and evaluate staff performance.
  • Promote the company’s values and high-performance work environment.

Qualifications and Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field is required.
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
  • 15+ years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.
  • Advanced communication, analytical thinking, and relationship building skills.
  • Proficiency in strategic planning, critical thinking, and investment management.
  • Strong industry knowledge and financial analysis capabilities.
  • Intermediate skills in risk management and project management.
