HR Administrator / Coordinator
Location: Rickmansworth (Office-Based)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: 5 months contract (with potential to extend)
Working Hours: Full-time
 
About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive HR Administrator/Coordinator to join our client’s team on an immediate basis. This is a key support role within a busy and fast-paced HR function, providing high-quality administrative assistance across a wide range of HR activities. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with prior experience in a HR team and the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the HR team.
  • Respond to various HR-related queries across the business in a professional and timely manner.
  • Monitor and manage the shared HR inbox, ensuring emails are prioritised and actioned appropriately.
  • Support the delivery of business change programmes such as TUPE transfers, redundancies, and restructures, owning relevant HR processes end-to-end.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee information on internal HR systems.
  • Assist in the coordination of onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle administration.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes and documentation.
Skills & Experience Required
  • Prior experience in a Human Resources administrative or coordinator role.
  • Exceptional organisational and administrative skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in industries such as  construction or engineering is desirable.
  • Confident working independently and using initiative with minimal supervision.
  • A team player who thrives in small, collaborative teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong IT skills, including MS Office (particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word).
