Health and Safety Advisor

Our client, a leading Principal Contractor operating across the Northern Division, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Health & Safety Advisor to join their team on a major technology centre project in Cheshire. With a strong pipeline of future projects across the North West, including Liverpool and Manchester, this is a long-term career opportunity with real growth prospects.

This position is primarily civils-based, with a strong focus on trenching, groundworks, and general civil engineering works. 

Key responsibilities include:

• Monitoring and advising on site health & safety compliance
• Carrying out site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
• Supporting operational teams in achieving best practices
• Liaising with project management to ensure H&S is embedded into site activities
• Ensuring policies and procedures are effectively implemented

We are looking for a proactive and confident Health & Safety professional with:

• 8–10 years of construction experience
• Proven background in civils, trenchwork, and groundworks
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Relevant Health & Safety qualifications (NEBOSH, IOSH, etc.)
• Based near the Cheshire project site
