Job description

This is a unique opportunity for an Environmental Manager to join a 'boutique' technical civil construction consultancy. As employee number two you'll be well incentivised and have the potential to secure equity. Nothing quite like owning a part of the business that you work for! 


This recently formed business specialises in supporting civil construction projects, providing expertise in Quality management, ISO 9001 accreditation, Quality Plans, Material Testing, UKAS Lab set up, Work Winning, Constructability and Methodology development.  They provide these services to several Tier One Main Contractors. 


This role will find you supporting with ongoing projects across the UK, mainly based in the East and West Midlands regions.  However, you may be required to travel anywhere in the UK and there is also potential for you to work internationally across Europe, Africa and Asia. You'll need to be prepared to travel and, on occasion, stay away from home. All these costs will of course be covered. 


As a Construction Environmental Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our clients construction projects comply with environmental regulations and sustainability standards. You will work closely with our client's project teams to implement environmental management plans, monitor construction activities, and promote sustainable practices.

To be successful in this position, it is thought that you will:
  • Be educated to degree level in Environmental Science, Environmental Management or a related field
  • Have proven experience in environmental management within the Civil construction sector
  • Have in-depth knowledge of environmental regulations and standards


On offer is a salary of between 50,000 - 60,000 per annum. Benefits will include a company car (EV), private health insurance, 25 days holiday (increases with service) and pension.
