Job Title: Site Supervisor – Highways & Drainage Renewal Project
Location: Taunton
Contract Type: Freelance, Outside IR35
Duration: 6 months + potential extensions
Shifts: Days or Nights (night shift uplift available)

About the Project:
Join a Tier 1/2 contractor delivering a drainage renewal project as part of a highways programme in Taunton. This role involves hands-on site management, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently, and to specification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise on-site teams and coordinate daily activities.
• Support Works Managers in planning and execution of highways and drainage works.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety, and quality standards.
• Monitor progress and report on site performance.
• Liaise with subcontractors and stakeholders to maintain smooth operations.

Essential Experience & Skills:

• Proven experience in drainage and highways projects.
• Strong site management and leadership capabilities.
• Knowledge of construction specifications, health & safety, and quality standards.
• Ability to work independently as a freelance professional outside IR35.
