This role is based in Watford and offers a fixed-term contract until June 2025. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in earthworks, setting out, and self-delivery, ensuring that all site operations are executed to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage earthworks operations, ensuring compliance with project specifications and timelines.
- Conduct precise setting out for earthworks, including the use of GPS and total station equipment.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless site operations.
- Monitor and report on project progress, addressing any issues or delays promptly.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Manage self-delivery aspects of the project, ensuring efficient resource utilization and cost control.
- Prepare and maintain accurate site records, including daily reports and site diaries.
- Proven experience in earthworks, with a strong understanding of techniques and best practices.
- Demonstrated ability in setting out, including the use of modern surveying equipment.
- Experience in self-delivery on large-scale civil engineering projects.
- Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Excellent communication and team-working skills.
- Ability to work independently and make informed decisions on-site.
- Relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering or a related field are desirable.
