Exciting developments are underway in Stonehenge, where an extraordinary construction project will soon begin. This remarkable endeavour will seamlessly blend modern innovation with the timeless beauty of the ancient site, enhancing the visitor experience while preserving its historical significance.

My client are embarking on an ambitious project to upgrade the A303 road, aiming to ease traffic congestion and enhance the visitor experience to the iconic Stonehenge landmark.


Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to support the objectives of the A303 road project.
• Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including supplier identification, tendering, negotiation, and contract management.
• Evaluate supplier proposals and make recommendations based on cost, quality, and suitability.
• Negotiate contract terms and conditions to achieve the best possible outcomes for the project.
• Ensure compliance with relevant procurement regulations and company policies.

Requirements:

• Major projects and main contractor experience is essential (E.g. HS2, Crossrail, Thames tideway)
• Quantity Surveying degree or equivalent
• Demonstrable experience with sub-contract and client management 
• P6/COINS/CEMAR software experience will be ideal
