Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor

People Group is working with a Tier 1 MEP contractor that is renowned for supporting and developing its staff. They are recruiting for a Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor to join their specialist residential division, taking a lead role in the delivery of a high-profile residential project in Central London.
As the Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor, you will have full autonomy on this prestigious project, managing an MEP package valued at £20m from preconstruction through to completion. You will oversee all aspects of cost control, commercial management, and contract administration to ensure the project is delivered successfully, on time, and within budget.

As the Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor, you will have full autonomy on this prestigious project, managing an MEP package valued at £20m from preconstruction through to completion. You will oversee all aspects of cost control, commercial management, and contract administration to ensure the project is delivered successfully, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full commercial management of the MEP package (£20m), from preconstruction to handover.
- Leading negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Managing risk and ensuring compliance with contract terms.
- Reporting to senior management on project financials and forecasting.
- Mentoring and supporting junior members of the commercial team.
- Proven experience as an MEP Quantity Surveyor, ideally in the residential sector.
- Experience with projects of a similar value (£10m+)
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to manage complex packages autonomously.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- A degree or relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or similar.
- Annual car allowance worth £5000.
