Like the idea of joining a start up, but with the backing of a £1bn+ revenue civil contractor? This role offers a rare opportunity to become employee number five in a newly created, standalone business.
Operating within the Energy sector, the company is well positioned to capitalise on the billions of pounds being invested across the industry — from interconnectors and transmission and distribution networks to substations.
As one of the first full time hires, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and growing the business’s presence in this market. You’ll bring a demonstrable track record within the sector, supported by a strong, citable portfolio of completed projects, and help shape the company’s future from the ground up.
As Senior Bid Manager, you will lead the delivery of best in class tenders, leveraging a broad internal team to transform client requirements into compelling, compliant, and value driven bids.
This role would suit an established Bid Manager seeking a new challenge, or a Project Manager with strong energy sector experience looking to transition into a pre-construction role.
What will you need to be successful?
On offer is a salary of £80,000–£90,000 per annum, alongside an annual performance bonus, car allowance, paid travel, and private medical insurance, among other benefits.

What will you need to be successful?
- An HND or degree in Civil Engineering or a construction related subject
- Experience working within a Tier 1 contractor, ideally within the energy sector (although wider civil engineering experience will also be considered)
- Strong civil engineering construction knowledge gained through a delivery, technical, or bidding role
