On offer is a salary of between 60,000 - 65,000 per annum, plus a very attractive benefits package incorporating a tax free subsistence, accommodation, car allowance, matched contribution pension and private medical.

What will you be doing?
As a Section Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Health, Safety & Environment
- Prepare, review, and approve RAMS and Task Briefing Sheets (TBS)
- Communicate safety requirements to the workforce and monitor on-site compliance
- Implement site systems and controls aligned with company standards and project requirements
- Manage the permitting process efficiently to enable timely commencement of works
Programme & Progress
- Review short-term lookahead programmes, monitor progress, and report any potential delays
- Provide feedback on site issues that may impact delivery and assist in identifying, preventing, and resolving them
- Support proactive planning to maintain programme integrity and mitigate risks to progress
Design & Design Assurance
- Review and interpret design drawings, specifications, and setting-out data to ensure accurate construction
- Identify and define temporary works requirements; prepare design briefs and liaise with designers as needed
- Communicate temporary works designs to the site team, oversee installation, and ensure compliance
- Raise and manage Technical Queries (TQs) and Material Approval Records (MARs)
- Procure materials in line with the construction programme and specification requirements
Quality Management
- Prepare and review Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and ensure processes are communicated and followed on site
- Maintain accurate QA documentation and records
- Lead the documentation, tracking, resolution, and close-out of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)
- Collate evidence in line with ITPs and handover requirements and lead readiness and quality review processes
To be successful in this position, it is thought that you will:
- Be educated to HND or Degree level in Civil Engineering
- Hold a CSCS Card - Academically or Professionally Qualified Person/Supervisory/Manager
- Have a SSSTS or SMSTS
- Ideally have at least 3 years of site based experience working on a civil engineering project
