Job description
I need a Quantity Surveyor with great understanding of rail infrastructure and building projects to join a large specialist sub-contractor who have the funding and resources available to enable years of guaranteed work and career progression to Senior Quantity Surveyor and above. You will be given the freedom and trust to show your skills and enhance the workforce around you with no supervision.
As a Quantity Surveyor you will be leading and supporting a small team ensuring development plans are in plans for any direct reports.

A Quantity Surveyor you will have:
- Extensive recurring success in a Quantity Surveying role, working on multiple projects valued between £1m - £10m.
- Thorough knowledge of monitoring cost performance of projects and contract administration.
- Demonstrable experience of coaching, mentoring and managing people.
- Track record in successfully managing and delivering against deadlines.
- Experience in a civil engineering environment, with some knowledge of Rail infrastructure.
- Thorough knowledge of cost management software and tools.
- Understanding of Lean principles (desirable).
