As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for efficiently managing all commercial functions related to your assigned packages of work. You will provide crucial commercial support to the Project Director, Commercial Director, and the wider Commercial Team to ensure the successful delivery of the project.

Key Responsibilities:

Contract Administration:
  • Efficient management of all commercial aspects of your work packages.
  • Provide commercial support to senior project leaders.
  • Ensure compliance with contract requirements.
Subcontractors / Procurement:
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with subcontractors and suppliers, assigning risks appropriately.
  • Manage subcontractors and suppliers in line with agreed terms and conditions.
  • Review, approve, and ensure payment of interim and final accounts.
  • Review and agree on costs to complete and forecasts.
Cost Management:
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, design, and procurement teams.
  • Ensure adherence to the commercial requirements of the contract and Works Information.
  • Manage contract insurance requirements, claims, and renewals.
Change Management:
  • Handle early warnings, compensation events, and quotations per contract conditions.
  • Prepare, submit, and agree on early warnings and compensation events.
People Management:
  • Manage and develop a commercial team to ensure project delivery and team growth.
  • Provide support and training for site staff on commercial issues.
