We're offering a fantastic opportunity to join a groundbreaking project in civil engineering. As part of our team, you'll contribute to one of the largest and most innovative ventures in the field.
 
Role:
  • Provide commercial support to the Project Director, Commercial Director, and the Commercial Team in managing the delivery of the project.
  • Ensuring subcontractors and suppliers are managed, within the terms and conditions of subcontractors.
  • Liaising and co-ordinating with production, engineering, design, and procurement teams
  • Notification of early warnings, compensation events and submission of quotations in compliance with the conditions of contract.
  • Reviewing and advising on newly identified risks and opportunities for best project return.
  • Effectively managing a commercial team to ensure delivery of the above items along with personal development and support or the team.
Skills:
  • You’ll have demonstrable experience as a QS with experience of working within civil engineering.
  • You’ll have strong stakeholder engagement coupled with an ability to juggle multiple priorities to meet stringent deadlines.
  • You’ll also have strong knowledge of NEC suite of contracts.
  • You'll have a Quantity Surveying degree (MRICS accredited or equivalent).
