Job Title: MEP QA Manager
Location: Central London
Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 +25 Days Annual Leave +Healthcare, Pension + bonus (Permanent, with Travel Paid)
Freelance Options Available – CIS or Ltd

We’re currently recruiting on behalf of a major MEP contractor for an experienced MEP QA Manager to join a landmark commercial project based in Central London. The MEP package value is approximately £45 million, with a lengthy project duration offering long-term stability and progression for the right candidate.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in delivering a high-profile scheme with one of the industry's most respected contractors, known for their quality delivery across sectors such as commercial, healthcare, residential, and education.
The Role: As MEP QA Manager, you will:
  • Develop and manage the Project Quality Plan in line with ISO 9001
  • Oversee QA processes across the site, ensuring full compliance with company and regulatory standards
  • Lead internal audits and manage third-party audit activity
  • Work closely with engineering, delivery, and commissioning teams to embed a culture of quality
  • Report on QA performance and drive continual improvement across all MEP phases
  • Provide mentoring and support to site-based QA reps and project engineers
  • Act as the QA lead across the lifecycle of the project, from pre-con to handover
Requirements:
  • Demonstrable experience as a QA Manager or Senior QA Engineer within the MEP/building services sector
  • Strong understanding of quality management systems, particularly ISO 9001
  • Previous experience working on large-scale commercial projects (ideally £20m+ MEP)
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., HNC/HND in Building Services, Engineering, or related field)
  • Ability and willingness to travel across sites when required
