A well-established M&E contractor specialising in residential, student accommodation and hotel projects across the UK is seeking a MEP Project Manager to oversee the whole M&E team on a £16mil residential fitout project located in the City Of London. This project is currently in the procurement stage and is set to commence in the coming months.

This company has cemented its status as a leading competitor in the building services market and is one of the industry's largest independent contractors.

Duties:
  • Lead and manage the MEP team, including engineers, technicians, and subcontractors
  • Develop and manage detailed project schedules for MEP installations
  • Monitor project budgets and control costs to ensure financial targets are met
  • Ensure all MEP installations meet required quality standards through regular site inspections and audits
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding MEP matters, providing regular updates and addressing concerns promptly
  • Oversee the procurement of MEP materials and equipment, ensuring timely availability of necessary resources
  • Implement and enforce health and safety protocols on site, conducting risk assessments and ensuring compliance with safety regulations
  • Identify and resolve any technical issues that arise during the project, providing solutions to maintain progress
  • Oversee the commissioning of MEP systems to ensure they are fully operational and manage the handover process, including preparation of operation and maintenance manuals
