MEP Project Engineers (National Grid)
We are working with a client who are seconding staff to the JV partner on London Power Tunnels II. We are looking for one Mechanical Project Engineer and one Electrical Project Engineer to join on a contract basis.
MEP Project Engineer Day Rates Negotiable (IR35 Assessment to be run). National Grid experience essential.
The London Power Tunnels II is a £1B contract over 7 years, completing n 2027. In total, 32.5km of 3m diameter tunnels are being constructed deep below the road network between Wimbledon and Crayford, which will carry high voltage electricity cables. The tunnels will also contain HVAC systems, lighting packages, security and BMS systems. The JV partner has appointed a tier I MEP contractor. The MEP Project Engineers will be reviewing what the MEP subcontractor is doing and ensure that their works comply with National Grid standards.
