A globally recognised, multi-disciplinary firm renowned for delivering innovative and sustainable engineering solutions across various sectors, including commercial, residential, healthcare, and infrastructure, are seeking a talented and motivated Mechanical Project Engineer to join its Building Services division to assist with the delivery of a Commercial project near St Pauls, which is due to finish April 2024. This is a rare and unique opportunity to join a truly global leader in the construction sector, working on a flagship scheme with excellent continuity which comes with job security.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee mechanical engineering projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with the design team to develop mechanical systems and solutions that meet project specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to project teams, clients, and stakeholders, ensuring all mechanical systems are designed and installed correctly.
  • Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure all mechanical works comply with industry standards, codes, and best practices.
  • Work closely with other engineering disciplines, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless integration and coordination of mechanical systems within the overall project.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that could impact project delivery, ensuring proactive problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including reports, specifications, and as-built drawings.
  • Ensure all mechanical engineering activities adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
