Mechanical Construction Manager (Perm OR Freelance)

Are you a Mechanical Construction Manager who’d be interested working for one of the fastest growing M&E Contractors in the UK, well renowned for providing second to none training, professional development and succession planning its employees.
My client is a medium-sized M&E Contractor with an enviable self-delivery capability, specialising in major residential and commercial building schemes across London. They require two Mechanical Construction Managers to join them on a significant commercial refurbishment project in Victoria, London, which has over one year until completion.
These opportunities are available on a Perm and freelance (CIS) basis.

Duties include but are not limited to:
- Management and delegation of works to sub-contractors
- Health & Safety responsibility for mechanical works, including toolbox talks and reports
- Compiling weekly progress reports for senior management
- Communicating efficiently with clients and suppliers to ensure the project will be completed on time.
- Scheduling, planning and ‘look aheads’ of trade requirements, identifying areas for money saving where possible.
- Track and reduce the cost of labour whenever possible
- Co-ordinate plant and materials in coordination with the project team
